Deputy Nurse Manager

Salary: 44500

40 Hours per week

Step into a rewarding leadership role where your nursing expertise and person centred approach can truly make a difference. This Deputy Nurse Manager position offers the chance to lead a dedicated care team support older adults with complex needs and contribute to the continued success of a purpose-built homely service that specialises in nursing and dementia care.

As Deputy Nurse Manager you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service. Youll play a key role in leading the clinical team maintaining high standards of care and supporting residents to live with dignity comfort and purpose.

What Were Looking For

  • Registered Nurse qualification (NMC Pin required).
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead Nurse Deputy Manager or similar senior nursing role within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent clinical leadership and communication skills.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering compassionate high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to the nursing and care team.
  • Ensure safe effective and person-centred care in line with CQC regulations.
  • Work with the Home Manager to maintain excellent standards of governance and compliance.
  • Act as a role model for best practice in nursing care particularly around dementia support.
  • Support with staff development supervision and training.
  • Build positive relationships with residents families and external professionals.
