Newcastle Anglican is holding a careers open day for Registered Nurses Enrolled Nurses & Care Assistants looking to join our team in either a Part Time or Casual capacity. The open day will be held on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 in Gloucester NSW. We anticipate the event to run for approximately 2 hours commencing at 10am.

This open day will give you the opportunity to meet with staff and take a tour of our Mirrabooka Place facility.

Only candidates who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be contacted and invited to the open day.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Actively promote Anglican Cares positive culture through interactions with residents staff and their families
• Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
• Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
• Abide by Aged Care Standards
• Work as an effective team member

About you

• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support for Care Assistants.
• OR Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) EN Care staff only
• An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
