Were seeking board-eligible/board-certified MD/DO anesthesiologists to support our rapidly expanding growth working in operating room procedural and obstetrics suite environments. Opportunities currently exist at our Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC) practice. Duties include clinical care and some teaching of learners at various levelsstudent registered nurse anesthetists residents etc.

Our department has a very strong research profile (#14 national 2024 Blue Ridge Ranking) and a major focus on quality/safety/clinical research supported by a perioperative data warehouse and membership in the Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group (MPOG). Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher however final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidates experience.

Salary Range Fixed Base Compensation Clinical Faculty w/ MD Degree

This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Anesthesiology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in Department of Anesthesiology incentive compensation programs. The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicines good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
