We developed and are commercializing the first and only FDA and EC approved medicine for adults with desmoid tumors and the first and only FDA and EC approved medicine for both adults and children with neurofibromatosis type 1 associated plexiform neurofibromas (NF1-PN).

Your Role:

The US Marketing Director will be a key contributor in the design and development of operational brand objectives strategies and innovative marketing initiatives that will support SWTX late phase asset brand launches. The person in this role will be a member of U.S. Brand team and a key participant in the shaping the launch trajectory of the organizations commercial indications.

Location Classification Hybrid:

This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) or more depending on business needs. #LI-Hybrid

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of disease state market dynamics unmet needs and brand/competitive data to lead the development and evolution of market shaping and brand building initiatives.
  • Develop and execute on brand strategies to engage with key stakeholders including but not limited to HCPs and Patients that drive differentiated and compelling value to market segments
  • Develop and execute brand strategies and campaigns through high-quality high-impact/engagement innovative promotional and educational initiatives including but not limited to core promotional materials print and digital sales force tools promotional and/or educational programming media planning and other NPP approaches.
  • Engage with Market Research colleagues Sales leaders field advisory teams and cross-functional partners to seek input into strategic and tactical planning and gather feedback and/or measure effectiveness of marketing tactics.
  • Demonstrate and develop strong relationships with key customers.
  • Collaborate with Thought Leader Engagement and Digital/Multichannel engagement Leads to ensure optimal activation of promotional and educational strategies and tactics (e.g. KOL engagement planning advisory activities multi-channel roll out of campaigns).
  • Independently and proactively identify strategic opportunities build plans and execute against them
  • Attend and/or participate at conventions conferences and tradeshows preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed and providing post-event reports and analysis
  • Define track and monitor key performance indicators for launch readiness and launch.
  • Manage multiple projects and vendors and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery.
  • Manage category/project budgets.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Role Requirements:

  • Education:Bachelors degree (business or related disciplines) /MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 9 years of relevant pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology commercial experience
  • 3 years people leadership experience
  • Launch and in-line marketing experience
  • Tactical planning experience
  • Brand planning experience
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Rare disease and/or oncology experience is preferred
  • Strong track record of influencing key stakeholders and leadership with and without authority
  • Team player and strong track record of collaboration
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to organize prioritize activate and execute.

  • This position must be able to work East Coast hours

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $220000 $240000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
