We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Solar Installation Helper to join our Installation team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Assist solar electricians with wiring conduit runs and panel terminations
- Pull wire label circuits and support inverter and disconnect installations
- Ensure work areas are clean organized and safe
- Traveling to customer locations across the New York City metropolitan area
- Follow instructions from foreman supervisors
- Help with system testing and troubleshooting
- Maintain safety standards and use proper PPE at all times
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of electrical tools and safety practices
- Previous construction solar or electrical experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on rooftops or ladders
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Punctual dependable and team-oriented
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation a plus
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus
Qualifications
Compensation:
- $150.00 per workday or $8.00 per installed panel whichever is the higher amount per day
