_{We are seeking a versatile Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool position to provide high-quality care across the Emergency Room (ER) Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The Float RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care collaborating across departments and adapting to a fast-paced dynamic environment. This is a resource role requiring flexibility critical thinking and the ability to function independently in multiple units.}

_{Essential Responsibilities:}

_{Conduct full head-to-toe assessments and reassessments per policy across age groups: pediatric adult and geriatric.}
_{Accurately assess and manage pain using appropriate techniques and education.}
_{Formulate revise and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient response.}
_{Administer medications safely using the Six Rights of Medication Administration.}
_{Demonstrate strong knowledge of medications and treatments relevant to patient age and condition.}
_{Assist physicians with procedures; perform technical skills within scope of licensure.}
_{Proficient in cardiac monitoring rhythm recognition and ACLS-based interventions.}
_{Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data; respond to clinical changes quickly and appropriately.}
_{Provide specialized care for patients with compromised metabolic/nutritional and fluid/electrolyte needs.}
_{Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and compliance with care plans.}
_{Communicate effectively with physicians coworkers and interdisciplinary team members.}
_{Remain organized and perform well in high-pressure time-sensitive situations.}
_{Support unit functions including transfers admissions and procedural assistance.}

_{Requirements:}

_{Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Emergency Department Med/Surg and/or PCU Required}
_{Must be willing and able to float across multiple units as needed This is a Float Position}
_{Strong adaptability and ability to take initiative in a support/resource role Required}
_{High proficiency in both ER and Med/Surg/PCU Required}
_{Rural/small hospital experience Highly Preferred}
_{COVID-19 Vaccination Required}
_{Licensure: Current NH RN License Required}
_{Certifications:}

- _{PALS or ENPC Required within 6 months of hire}
