Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid Model)
Duration: 12 months extendable
Interview type: Face to Face interview needed.
Position type: W2 contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions in a dynamic environment collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and related technologies.
Develop RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.
Collaborate with product owners architects and UX teams to define technical specifications.
Ensure high performance scalability and security of applications.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines automation and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
8 years of experience in Java development.
Strong hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns.
Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Proficient with Spring Boot Spring Cloud Hibernate and other relevant frameworks.
Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with API Gateway Service Mesh or related technologies.
Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
