Job Summary

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite Vienna VA)

Rate / Salary: 120k/Annum on W2

Experience Level: 5 10 Years

Basic Purpose

Provide comprehensive project management product ownership and business analysis support for the Information Security Project Management Office (ISPMO) teams. This role combines organizational expertise Agile methodologies and technical proficiency to manage backlogs facilitate the creation of user stories and business requirements support scrum ceremonies and track deliverables. The goal is to ensure initiatives remain on schedule aligned with business priorities and well-documented. Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools is required to drive productivity organization and clear communication.

Solve Business Problems By:

Analyzing current processes systems and workflows to identify gaps dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
Translating functional and non-functional requirements into clear actionable user stories acceptance criteria and technical documentation.
Managing and prioritizing product backlogs to align with business priorities and project goals.
Facilitating Agile ceremonies and fostering cross-functional collaboration for consistent progress.
Leveraging Azure DevOps to track deliverables dependencies and timelines.
Driving execution of solutions with attention to quality and adherence to standards.
Continuously monitoring progress resolving blockers and adapting to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects across ISPMO teams ensuring timelines deliverables and quality standards are achieved.
Act as a hybrid Project Manager / Product Owner / Business Analyst / Scrum Master to provide end-to-end support for initiatives.
Maintain and organize product backlogs by capturing refining and prioritizing user stories and business requirements.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives and refinement sessions.
Use ADO boards to create and track user stories manage tasks and monitor progress.
Collaborate with stakeholders business partners and vendors to define objectives capture requirements and ensure alignment.
Prepare and deliver reports presentations and project documentation using MS Office Suite and M365 applications.
Ensure adherence to Agile best practices policies and procedures within the Scrum framework.
Proactively identify and resolve risks dependencies and blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
Support clear communication between teams leadership and stakeholders by maintaining transparency on project status issues and next steps.
Oversee documentation processes to ensure artifacts deliverables and decisions are accurate accessible and maintained.

Required Qualifications

5 years of project management experience including product ownership business analysis and scrum master responsibilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management boards tagging and reporting.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework with experience facilitating Scrum.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to context-switch across multiple initiatives.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel) and collaboration tools (Teams Outlook SharePoint).
Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear and well-formatted documentation.
Self-starter with strong time management skills capable of working independently.
Ability to work onsite one designated day per week.

Preferred Qualifications

8 years of project management experience with product ownership business analysis and scrum master roles.
Prior experience supporting multiple Agile teams within a PMO environment.
Advanced proficiency in ADO for reporting dashboarding and managing complex backlogs.
Experience with vendor management and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Familiarity with technical documentation and linking artifacts in ADO and/or SharePoint.
Background in security-related or technology-focused projects.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma).
