Job Summary

Location: Columbus OH 43215 (Field-Based Remote within OH)
Duration: 3-month contract with potential for extension
Pay Rate: $42/hr (W2)
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST

Position Summary:

This role is primarily work-from-home (WFH) and candidates can be sourced from anywhere in Ohio. Minimal travel may be required later in the year and any travel would be based on the candidates home location.

As a Healthcare Consultant III you will provide comprehensive healthcare management services to support appropriate treatment manage costs and improve clinical program efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Determine medical necessity and appropriateness of services
Facilitate optimal health outcomes for patients
Identify and implement continuous quality/compliance improvements
Recognize clinical aberrations and assist with corrective actions
Educate and empower customers to improve satisfaction and advocacy
Optimize total healthcare costs
Support policy implementation and evaluation based on data and directives

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare or clinical consulting experience

Education:

Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW)
