Job Description:

The Microbiologist/Molecular Biologist will support research and development initiatives by performing microbial analysis across various client Crop Science projects.
This role will contribute to method development execute laboratory assays and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality data generation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct microbiological analyses on a variety of microbial species to support internal research studies.
Develop and refine protocols for Colony Forming Unit (CFU) quantitation and other microbiological techniques.
Perform viability and stability assays following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Process diverse sample types for microbial recovery and cultivation across multiple media types.
Prepare analyze and communicate experimental data and findings to internal teams and stakeholders.
Operate troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in general lab upkeep including supply inventory equipment calibration and cleanliness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within client as well as with external partners as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or master s degree in Microbiology Molecular Biology or a related field.
Experience with microbial culturing aseptic techniques and microbial quantification methods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols accurately.
Effective communication skills both written and verbal for reporting and collaboration.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
