Position: Equity Dealer
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Equity Dealer to join our team. The Equity Dealer will be responsible for executing buy and sell orders in the equity markets on behalf of clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role requires strong market knowledge relationship management skills and the ability to provide trading insights that support client investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Execute equity trades (cash and derivatives) swiftly and accurately as per client instructions.
Monitor stock market movements and provide timely updates on market trends trading opportunities and stock performance.
Assist clients in managing their portfolios by offering trading strategies and investment insights (within regulatory scope).
Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
Maintain proper documentation of trades and create audit-ready records.
Collaborate with the back-office team for trade confirmation settlements and reconciliations.
Work towards achieving revenue and business growth targets.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance Commerce or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
Mandatory certifications: NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) and Series VII (Securities Operations and Risk Management).
1–2 years of prior experience in equity dealing broking or trading.
Strong understanding of financial instruments trading platforms and stock market operations.
Excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and speed.
