Job Description:

The Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Genie Global Pricing Team supporting Genies financial objectives while maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace through current and future pricing strategic initiatives.

The role is based in Bothell WA and reports to the Director of Global Pricing and is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and passionate team.

What youll do

Main duties will include

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and evaluate resource requirements
  • Represent pricing during negotiations of large deals and support the negotiation of all global key account pricing agreements
  • Partner with the sales and product management teams to identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies
  • Lead the deal desk for North America and Latin America. Review and improve prices quoted by sales by evaluating margin impact potential incremental volume and competitor price levels
  • Own regional price lists price guidance and pricing policy (including discount authority)
  • Manage price realization for North America and Latin America
  • Recommend pricing actions to the leadership team to improve price realization and profitability
  • Provide pricing guidance to optimize the product portfolio and customer segmentations strategies
  • Analyze finished goods inventory trends and partner with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns
  • Train the sales team on pricing topics and pricing negotiation techniques

What youll bring

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (Mathematics Engineering Economics Finance or related)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management sales or pricing function
  • Proven successful experience with pricing techniques and price optimization

Key skills and attributes will include

  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Display commercial acumen and have a customer-centric attitude
  • Strong aptitude for math and understanding/analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Able to present clean organized and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good initiative to delegate follow up on and resolve issues
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships and influence individuals across different teams and functions
  • Ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment
  • Strong decision-making capacity

Salary: The salary range for this position is $85000 - 95000 USD.
