Nelson 3 is a 23-bed medical unit with 12 telemetry beds. On the unit you will provide care for a variety of complex adult medical patients with acute gastrointestinal cardiac renal hepatic endocrine sickle cell hematological and respiratory disorders. The team uses a multidisciplinary approach to care utilizing physicians case managers homecare pharmacy PT/OT and social work to provide quality and safe care while supporting the patient and their family.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
- One year of clinical experience e.g. home care outpatient acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
