DescriptionOur Service Coordinators are the lynch pins of our organisation! This position is pivotal in ensuring our patients have a positive experience with us from their first point of contact onwards. You will have the opportunity to get to know our patents and support them through their life long journeys.
As Service Coordinator you will also provide effective and professional administrative support to the Team Leader and wider team of Clinical Prosthetist/Orthotists and Allied Health Professionals.
Some of the Service Coordinators responsibilities are:
- Welcoming patients and their support people in person on the phone or via email
- Ensuring information is accurately and efficiently entered into our patient database
- Arranging travel and accommodation
- Assisting patients with requests for consumable stock items
- Preparing reports and referrals
- Scanning and preparing patient files
- Supporting the prosthetists/orthotists in making appointments
- Identifying process/procedural inefficiencies and making recommendations for improvements
Skills And ExperiencesThis is an interesting and varied role and the ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator who stays calm under pressure and has strong organisational skills and attention to detail. You will need to flexible and adaptable and enjoy working as part of a team.
Along with the above the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills empathy and an ability to work with people from all walks of life. You will need to be tech savvy and most importantly have a can do attitude and a genuine desire to help!
