St Edmunds is a popular Voluntary Aided secondary school in the heart of Portsmouth and serves a wide area. It is an Outstanding school (Ofsted 2016 and 2022) serving a diverse population. The Governors are seeking to appoint to the following post:

Cleaner (REF:CL25)

30 hours per week 52 weeks per year

Salary: Band 1 FTE 24310 - 24413

(Pro rata 19710.81 - 19794.32)

To Start November 2025

We are looking for hard working and an enthusiastic person to join our cleaning must be committed to working as part of a busy team and also be able to work independently. Your responsibilities will be to ensurethat the designated areas of the school premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

Cleaning within school takes place during 1pm to 7.30pm (including a 30-minute unpaid break) Monday to Friday 52 weeks per year (7.15am to 1:45pm during School holiday periods).You will receive 27 days paid holidays per year this increases to 31 days after 5 years of service.
