Bring your talent and leadership to Raytheons Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM). We have a high visibility opportunity for a Production Supervisor in the in the Sensors High Mix value stream. Overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team consisting of 10-15 employees. This individual will lead a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality cost and delivery requirements by planning organizing and directing the flow of production.
You will be responsible for a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvement projects. Engage in daily interaction with other cross business teams in Raytheon to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
This role requires daily interaction with manufacturing engineering maintenance production control finance and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding cost quality delivery safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.
To be eligible for a SkillBridge Fellowship you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
- Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
- Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4 in the chain of command.
- Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location
What You Will Do
- Execution of schedule and cost.
- Workforce planning and forecasting.
- Employee hiring and training.
- Time and attendance tracking.
- Area Layout and flow management.
- Ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures.
- Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is required.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in circuit card assembly
- Basic knowledge/understanding of theory of constraints.
- Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees
- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience in the aerospace/defense industry
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel PowerPoint Project and Access)
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies.
