Centra Sota Cooperatives vision is to improve lives and create a more vibrant future for farmers families and communities in Central MN. We are seeking a Fleet Mechanic & Trainer to join our team. This role combines hands-on diagnostics and repair with training and mentoring responsibilities helping us reduce outsourcing costs and strengthen our in-house expertise.

What Youll Do

Diagnose troubleshoot and repair diesel/heavy trucks and fleet equipment.
Train and mentor drivers and operators on mechanical and electrical repairs.
Oversee preventive maintenance DOT compliance and repair documentation.
Provide roadside service parts sourcing and vendor coordination.
Support fleet cost control and long-term equipment planning.

Qualifications

What Were Looking For

5 years of experience in diesel/heavy truck or semi repair.
Strong diagnostic skills with engines transmissions hydraulics and electrical systems.
CDL Class A (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
Excellent communication skills and ability to train/mentor others.
Technical certifications (ASE welding fabrication etc.) preferred.
