Who were looking for
Toyotas Environmental and Facilities (E&F) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to collaboratively support the development of environmental action plans and activities for achieving Toyotas Environmental Challenge 2050.
Reporting to the Environmental & Facilities 2050 & Performance Manager the person in this role will support Toyota Motor North Americas (TMNA) objective to achieving Toyotas Environmental Challenge 2050.
What youll be doing
Support Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 action planning development
Support NA region Mfg. & Non-Mfg. operations environmental target setting
Support NA region Mfg. & Non-Mfg. environmental target achievement action planning
Support preparation of environmental performance reports & propose variance countermeasure plans
Plan and request funding / resources to complete action plan implementation
Participate in NA region Sustainability Focus Groups & quarterly regional meetings
What you bring
Bachelor of Science or higher degree (Engineering: Chemical Environmental Mechanical Electrical)
Experience in project planning & implementation
Experience working collaboratively across the company and multiple functions
Experience in executive report preparation & presentation
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint TEAMS and Outlook) Level: Intermediate
Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required
Ability to travel up to 10% when required
Added bonus if you have
Experience in industrial systems (HVAC chilled water compressed air)
Experience leading projects or equivalent functional leadership experience
Experience in Microsoft PowerBi
Professional Engineering (PE) License
Masters degree in engineering
Spanish language skill Good verbal and communication skills
Fundamental skills of problem-solving and desire to improve/kaizen
