The Metrology Technician II is responsible for maintaining calibration of equipment used for oligo production. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
This position reports to the Metrology Supervisor is part of the Equipment Maintenance and Assembly teams located in Coralville IA and will be an on-site role.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Perform testing on various types of equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
Document testing and other actions performed with detail and precision into the CCMS (computerized maintenance management system)
Maintain Rees System (fridge and freezer monitoring system) and performs basic trouble shooting for system problems
The essential requirements of the job include:
An associate degree in a science or related field or 2 years of applicable lab or related experience or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Proficiency in computer software and standard office equipment including MS Excel required. Prefer knowledge or experience with equipment troubleshooting.
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in science related field is preferred.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
