Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a contract assignment in a hospital-based surgical services unit. The RN will function as part of a collaborative surgical team ensuring safe and efficient delivery of perioperative patient care.

Unit Profile

Schedule: 5x8s MondayFriday
Shift Time: 07:0015:30
Weekends/Nights: Not required
Call: May be required depending on departmental needs

Key Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care including pre-op assessment intra-op support and post-op monitoring.
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists surgical techs and other team members to ensure safe patient outcomes.
Scrub and circulate as needed based on case requirements.
Monitor patients conditions and report changes promptly.
Maintain a sterile environment and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
Document all patient care activities accurately in the EMR.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
Active RN license (state-specific).
Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
