Job Summary

Must have at least (6) years of plant EHS leadership experience with an emphasis on Safety AND must have a Bachelor of Science degree in safety or environmental from an accredited program.

Position is a key member of the plant leadership team and highly visible position in the operations/business unit. Manage the EHS program for a large employee scope directly supervise a staff of EHS Specialists and will report to the Plant Manager.

Develop and execute strategic and tactical EHS plans to drive fatality prevention increase risk recognition and reduce injuries/incidents.

Lead mentor develop and support the sites EHS staff. Industrial safety experience with proven track record of cultural change success.

Strong heavy manufacturing background and union experience.

Accountable for continued growth in driving safety culture initiatives employee engagement and coaching / mentoring the EHS Department.
