Shuttle Bus Driver On-Call
Onsight Healthcare has been contracted to support Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia Tennessee!
On-Call Position $17/hour Tips Coverage as Needed No Guaranteed Hours

Shift Details
- This On-Call Shuttle Driver position is designed to provide coverage when our regularly scheduled drivers are unavailable.
- This role is perfect for former school bus drivers looking to stay active with flexible as-needed work.
- If hired you will be contacted to provide coverage when regularly scheduled drivers are unavailable.
Shuttle Team Operating Hours
- Monday Friday
- 6:00 am 7:00 pm
- Morning Shift 6:00am 10:00am
- Afternoon Shift 3:00pm 7:00pm
Minimum Requirements
- Over the age of 21 years old
- Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
- High school Diploma or GED
- Possess a valid active in-state regular drivers license (Permit or Probationary License not accepted)
- At least 2years of Van/shuttle driving experience with a strong personable customer-centric background is required
- Extremely safe driver familiar with and able to adhere to all major traffic laws
- Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver
- A CDL License is not required but is a plus!
Key Responsibilities
When Shuttling Guests
- Greet and welcome guests to the healthcare facility
- Answer guests questions regarding offices or department locations
- Follow a planned route making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off patients visitors and guests
- Assist patients visitors and guests on and off the shuttle when help is needed
- Use apps/technology daily to maintain operational efficiency and logistics for the assigned shuttle route
- Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or necessary information about the shuttle
When Not Shuttle Driving for Guests
- Greet and welcome guests to the healthcare facility
- Assist in maintaining a clean welcoming and professional work environment for your co-workers and passengers
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all patients guests and team members
- Answer guests questions regarding medical offices or department locations
About You
The right fit for this role is friendly dependable and comfortable working with people from all walks of life. Experience driving vans shuttles or other larger vehicles is important along with the ability to provide a safe and welcoming ride. A positive attitude patience and a focus on customer service will make you successful in this on-call position.

Job Responsibilities

- Greet patients visitors and staff with a consistently warm friendly demeanor showingcompassion and empathy to everyone you interact with
- Provide exceptional Shuttle services ensuring the safety and security of people and their belongings
- Support and work in a team environment to meet all metrics that strengthenthe client relationship with Onsight Healthcare.
- Assist individuals with mobility challenges boarding the shuttle
- Daily use of apps/technology to maintainoperational efficiency and logistics
- Meticulously maintain records including photos of the vehicle condition and other records as needed
- Efficiently manage shuttle logistics adhering to all site requirements and assigned routes abidingby all traffic laws
- Provide accurate directions and helpful information about the hospital facilities
- Effectively build relationships with hospital staff patients guests and team
- Actively maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

- Work with professionalism integrity and compassion supporting your team and together representing Onsight Healthcare throughout the facility
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Adequately able to operate apps/technology on a tablet and continuously learning of new software that may be applied todaily tasks
- Move with urgency and speedto prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment paying attention to surroundings and details
- Work in a sitting position driving for an entire shift
- Safely and physically able to lift up to50 lb
- Effectively able to build relationships with yourteam and others in a professional manner
- Ability to walk stand push and pull items while showing empathy and professionalism in the workplace

Compensation
- Base pay of $17/hour plus tips
- DailyPay App available (fees may apply)
