Presbyterian is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist for Urology to support visit closure activities ensuring seamless coordination of patient care while delivering an exceptional experience. This role plays a key part in guiding patients through the next steps ordered by the clinician.
The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for coordinating specialty and radiologic procedures recognizing payor requirements and securing prior authorizations certifications and referrals as needed.

The ideal candidate will have advanced scheduling expertise including the ability to optimize schedules for accuracy and efficiency within their department.

Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare office experience preferred
Familiarity with prior authorization certification and referral processes preferred
Must pass EPIC registration competency after clerical training
Professional Requirements
Medical terminology training required within six months of hire
Strong organizational multitasking and customer service skills
Must pass annual competency exams and attend required staff meetings
Abilities
Effective communication and record-keeping skills
Proficient in EMR for scheduling and documentation
Maintains confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
