Occupational Therapist Travel Position
Location: Rhinelander WI
Job Type: Travel Contract

Pay: $2355/week
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a facility in Rhinelander WI on a travel contract. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness injury or surgery focusing on enhancing independence in daily living activities mobility and overall functional abilities. The ideal candidate is patient-centered adaptable and skilled in delivering individualized therapy care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients functional abilities and therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining strengthening coordination and mobility support.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals adaptive strategies and use of assistive equipment.
- Document evaluations treatment sessions and progress notes accurately and in compliance with facility standards.
- Collaborate with physical therapy speech therapy and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient-centered care.
- Support independence recovery and improved quality of life through evidence-based occupational therapy practices.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin (or compact license).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience in a general rehabilitation setting.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong clinical assessment communication and documentation skills.
- Compassionate approach with experience supporting diverse patient populations.
