We are currently seeking skilled Shipwright for a potential projects in Norfolk VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role.

Overview:

Build staging and apply shrink-wrap for shipyard preservation and access.

Responsibilities:

• Erect and dismantle staging and temporary structures.
• Install shrink-wrap coverings for shipboard protection.
• Follow safety standards for fall protection and scaffolding.
• Support shipyard preservation projects.

Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret clearance .
• 2 years in shipwright carpentry or staging work.
• Knowledge of scaffolding and shrink-wrap systems.
• Ability to work at high heights.
• Ability to work 1st 2nd and 3rd shift.
