- Pay Considerations The salary range for the position is $91138.70-$147710.62 Starting salary is dependent on education qualifications and experience.
- Work Schedule This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week 9 hours per day (36 hour work week)Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 6:00pm
THE ROLE
Under general direction coordinates and facilitates the successful planning execution and completion of Information Technology (IT) and other large or high-priority City projects. Manages all phases of assigned projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals managing budgets and resources and providing mentoring guidance and work direction to project team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems Engineering
Mathematics or a closely related field. - Four (4) years progressively responsible experience in IT project management including two (2) years successful implementations of enterprise-level IT projects or projects of similar complexity and scope.
- Two (2) years of lead supervisory experience over project management staff is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education related work experience training in enterprise-level IT projects or projects of similar complexity and scope with preferably two (2) years of lead supervisory experience may be considered. The City assesses one (1) year of full-time experience as
equivalent to one (1) year of education. - Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Nevada drivers license and maintain satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Agile or Scrum certification (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster PMI-ACP) is desirable.
- Incumbents in positions that require possession of valid licensing/certification as a condition of employment must obtain and maintain such credentials within the established time periods and throughout the course of employment. Failure to obtain or maintain required licenses or
certifications in good standing may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
