Urgently Hiring!! 3rd Shift Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Supply Chain Shipping and Receiving Clerk for 3rd Shift (10pm-6am) at our Arlington TX facility.

BASIC FUNCTIONS & SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Creating shippers in QAD for outgoing material
• The safe operation of the plants material handling equipment
• The movement of materials tooling and supplies required for customer shipments vendor receipts or support of the manufacturing processes applying the safety guidelines of the facility at all times
• Maintaining order within the storage locations of the plant in accordance with the plants PFEP and 5s audit
• The preparation of parts for shipment which may include simple inspection repackaging or relabeling
• Ensuring that all material movements are processed in accordance with the plants inventory accuracy requirements:
• Shipping
• Receiving
• Scrap Removal
• Warehouse transfers
• Follow the documented shipping / receiving processes ensuring that all loads inbound or outbound are loaded/unloaded in a safe and in a timely manner; material is verified to the documentation prior to driver signature and required ERP processing is completed accurately.
• ASNs must be successfully transmitted within 30 minutes of the departure of the truck; transmissions must be verified for successful receipt using the customer systems portals or response transactions.
• Receipt transactions entered the ERP system within one hour of the departure of the truck
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Microsoft office
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
