Senior Analyst, Global Delivery Performance Management

The base salary for this position is $104500 - 118250 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location job-related knowledge skills and experience.

The Global Performance Management team is looking for advanced analytical action-oriented and collaborative individuals that can translate business problems to actionable insights and data driven solutions to influence operational results. Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also being eager to communicate upward and outward to tell a concise story.

The Global Performance Management team within Transportation & Delivery (T&D) is responsible for improving all areas of business with accurate and dependable reporting. To do so we leverage an end-to-end view of the supply chain and use data to identify key opportunity areas build business cases and work with partners in operations on implementation. We also manage the data infrastructure for the T&D team and partner with upstream teams to maintain sources of truths and metric definitions.

What Youll Do

• Perform analysis across large data sets to develop performance insights and highlight operational opportunities.
• Develop key metrics and reporting to measure how initiatives are improving Wayfairs performance and enabling our team to easily identify trends root causes and develop targeted action plans.
• Leverage a deep understanding of Supply Chain principles to design new initiatives aimed at improving the speed and/or capabilities of Wayfairs delivery network.
• Leverage critical thinking and data handling to examine and challenge existing practices identify opportunities for improvement and gain buy-in from stakeholders on proposals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Operations and Tech to support the rollout of new operational initiatives and/or tech capabilities.
• Ensure that there is strong alignment between Wayfairs business objectives and our data-driven strategies.
• Conduct thorough ad-hoc analysis.
• Build dashboards to translate large data sets into driving insights and action.
• Monitor KPIs and assess how were making progress against business objectives and occasionally present findings to senior leadership.

What Youll Need

• Masters with 1-2 years of experience or Bachelors degree with 3-4 years of experience.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets SQL or GBQ and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker Tableau or PowerBI).
• Experience in Supply Chain and/or E-Commerce is a plus.
• Excellent communication both written and verbally.

• High attention to detail and thorough attention to data integrity to deliver trusted insights.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

An Important Note about Wayfairs In-Office Policy:

• All Boston-based interns Co-ops and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days Monday - Thursday and work remotely Friday.
