Job Summary
Were looking for a strong Engineering Program Manager with a proven record of building and maintaining complex software platforms tools and processes that deliver new end-to-end experiences on-device. You will partner with teams across Apple and deliver some of the most ambitious capabilities for executing AI/ML features on scalable distributed systems and ensuring reliability scalability and efficiency of ML pipelines and you are the type of person that feels a personal stake in everything that you work on have a strong sense of ownership thrive in fast-paced environments with lots of ambiguity enjoy working with complex technologies know how to foster strong relationships build trust and work for the success for the entire team then you will be a strong match for our team. - 5 years in a role leading cross-functional teams in product/project/program development
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale engineering products or platforms involving machine learning including experience with model training and optimization distributed server side inference and/or user-facing applications that use those services and deliver measurable business or product value.
- Experience with distributed systems cloud infrastructure and ML frameworks
- Lead multi-functional teams to develop and deploy GPU-accelerated AI/ML solutions across Apples product ecosystem.
- Drive graphics/compute API and software/hardware feature development lifecycles from concept through launch ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Familiarity with ML lifecycle from experimentation to production.
- Drive resolution of technical risks and challenges working in close partnership with engineering leads.
- Champion innovation and execution excellence setting strategic direction for GPU-accelerated AI/ML initiatives at Apple.
- Effective and clear communication and presentation skills written and verbal
- BS/MS (EE/CS/CE) or a related technical field.
- Prior PM or engineering experience in AI/ML model training high-performance distributed computing or inference optimization technologies
- Experience with silicon acceleration and compute frameworks
- Self-motivated independent and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (real-time) triage prioritize and lead cross-functional teams under pressure
