Status: Full-time permanent position (40 hours)
Standard work hours: 8am to 5pm EST M-F
Location: The ideal candidate will be remote in Richmond Virginia or the surrounding areas. The position is open to candidates across Virginia with the option to work in a hybrid arrangement if preferred.
Job Description Summary:
Responsible for the development and oversight of network education and educational programs that assist in the success of a providers achievement of health plan goals and health plan growth.
Responsible for developing programs that adhere to commitments and contractual requirements of the health plan across all lines of business.
Making sure providers are effective in executing operational processes for Sentara Health Plans themselves and the member(s) experience.
Demonstrate the effectiveness of the education and support programs as reflective in provider and member satisfaction compliance and retention of the participating network.
Seeks innovative ways to engage the provider community both participating and non-participating in training and educational platforms that make Sentara Health Plans easy to do business with.
Education:
Bachelors degree in marketing business or healthcare related field REQUIRED with two years of provider education and/or provider relations experience.
In lieu of degree six years of provider education and/or provider relations experience
Certification/Licensure:
None required
Experience:
Training- 2 years
Leadership- 2 years
Experience in creation of marketing/training materials preferred.
Healthcare and/or government programs experience preferred
