Job Summary
Our Foam manufacturing facility located in Phoenix AZ is currently hiring for Box Truck Driver
JOB SUMMARY
The Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers using box trucks. This role is key to maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellent customer service ensuring that good reach their destinations efficiently.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Safely operate box trucks adhering to all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Efficiently load and unload cargo ensuring safety and integrity of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections refuel clean vehicles and report any mechanical issues to maintenance staff.
- Immediately report any road incidents to the dispatcher or supervisor
- Maintain accurate logs of driving activity cargo records and compliance with electronic logging devices (ELD units)
- Ensure that goods are delivered on schedule to meet customer expectations
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude during customer interactions
- Other duties as assigned
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Adherence to safety guidelines and traffic laws
- Accuracy of cargo and log records
- Customer satisfaction and timeliness of deliveries
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of experience driving a box/pup truck
- Must have a valid medical examiner card
- Clean MVR report for the last 3 years
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Driving in various traffic and weather conditions
- Loading and unloading goods of varying sizes and weights
