Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The general purpose of the replenishment function is to stock bins in accordance with the needs of the pickers. Replenishment associate are responsible for maintain a specific zone to include equipment (WAVEs and bins). The replenishment team is also responsible for pulling a report every morning. The purpose of the report is to make restocking bins easier and quicker. When not replenishing items for pickers the replenishment team is expected to fill other empty bins while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull down product into REPO based on report needs for the day
Replenish product for pickers as needed in correct bins
Put REPO away when not replenishing for pickers
Assist receiving by unloading trucks receiving product and distributing product into correct primary and reserve locations
Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for all employees and customer traffic
Assist inventory in counting of product
Organize warehouse/zone for neatness at all times
Consolidate reserve locations to clear up reserve space
Ensure all bins are in good condition and fix or replace bins that are in poor condition
Ensure equipment is in good working order and report any and all issues to supervisors in a timely manner
Assist scanners with error reports as needed
Notify supervisor and/or inventory of issues with product counts or mixed bins
SUPERVISION
General Supervision: routine duties are performed with minimal supervision; standard practices or procedures allow me to proceed alone at routine work; occasional check of work while in progress; work is reviewed upon completion
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with all safety policies practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
