Job Description
TITLE: Radar Senior Principal Systems Engineer
Required: Active Secret Clearance
RATE RANGE: $75.00/hr - $117.50/hr W2 **depends on experience and benefits chosen**
DURATION: 12-month contract or contract to hire
LOCATION:Huntsville Alabama San Diego CA or Woburn MA

Geologics is hiringRadar Senior Principal Systems Engineersto work as part of a team to define radar system requirements design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Secret Clearance
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 6 years of Software Engineering experience.
- Experience providing expertise for concept development architectural design requirements generation & flow-down modeling and simulation systems analysis integration test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems.
- Experience in system performance analysis algorithm development modeling & simulation or support to fielded systems
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues using strong analytic technical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with system level requirements development documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture
- Experience with radar system concepts; detection track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
- Experience with the development and coding of system models algorithms test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance
- Experience working with Matlab C/C Java or DOORS
- Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancement
- Experience with developing documenting and maintaining processes methods and tools
- Experience with Battle Management command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems Radar Systems or signal processing techniques
- Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs
- Previous military service
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
- Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
- Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
- Presenting plans designs and system performance to peers internal leadership and external customers
- Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements

- Electronic Protection signal processing applied mathematics
- Hypersonic threat defense
- Tracking discrimination search and battle manager interfaces
- Radar calibration diagnostics deployed site support
- Modeling and simulation of tactical software
