TITLE: Radar Senior Principal Systems Engineer

Required: Active Secret Clearance

RATE RANGE: $75.00/hr - $130.90/hr W2 **depends on experience and benefits chosen**

DURATION: 12-month contract or contract to hire

LOCATION:Huntsville Alabama San Diego CA or Woburn MA

Geologics is hiringRadar Senior Principal Systems Engineersto work as part of a team to define radar system requirements design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Secret Clearance
• Requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 6 years of Software Engineering experience.

• Experience providing expertise for concept development architectural design requirements generation & flow-down modeling and simulation systems analysis integration test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems.

• Experience in system performance analysis algorithm development modeling & simulation or support to fielded systems

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues using strong analytic technical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with system level requirements development documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture
• Experience with radar system concepts; detection track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
• Experience with the development and coding of system models algorithms test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance
• Experience working with Matlab C/C Java or DOORS
• Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancement
• Experience with developing documenting and maintaining processes methods and tools
• Experience with Battle Management command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems Radar Systems or signal processing techniques
• Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs
• Previous military service

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
• Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
• Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
• Presenting plans designs and system performance to peers internal leadership and external customers
• Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements

• Electronic Protection signal processing applied mathematics
• Hypersonic threat defense
• Tracking discrimination search and battle manager interfaces
• Radar calibration diagnostics deployed site support
• Modeling and simulation of tactical software
