Occupational Therapist (LTC/SNF) Travel Position
Location: Oklahoma City OK

Pay: $1955/week
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Oklahoma City OK on a travel contract. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate residents design personalized care plans and provide therapy to improve independence mobility and quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient-focused adaptable and experienced in geriatric rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations to assess residents functional abilities cognitive skills and therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining mobility support strengthening and adaptive strategies.
- Educate residents families and caregivers on therapy goals safety techniques and the use of assistive equipment.
- Accurately document therapy sessions progress and evaluations in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with therapy and nursing teams to ensure coordinated patient-centered care.
- Promote independence and improved quality of life through evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma (or compact license).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience preferably in LTC/SNF settings.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong assessment documentation and communication skills.
- Compassionate and resident-centered approach with geriatric experience preferred.
