Patient Care Tech Intern Comprehensive Transplant Unit

Full Time Rotating shift 36 hours

ThePatient Care Tech Intern works under the supervision of a nurse and taking into consideration the developmental needs of the patient performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature as competency documentation designates.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic clinical skills required to support nursing personnel with patient care activities and related services focused on the needs and comfort of patients. PCT Intern will remain in an intern role for no longer than 1 year. The PCT Intern will advance to the PCT I upon meeting training requirements.
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.00/hour - Maximum 18.00/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
