Shift: 12 hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Telemetry team in a permanent full-time role. As a telemetry RN you will provide specialized nursing care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring playing a key role in early detection of cardiac complications and promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data to detect changes in patients heart rhythms.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed.
- Respond promptly to alarms and changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient interactions observations and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (required).
- Telemetry experience preferred but not required (training may be provided).
- ACLS and BLS certification (American Heart Association) Required.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
