Job Description
The Wintel Project Manager will manage and deliver projects focused on Windows and Active directory environments. This role requires strong technical expertise in Wintel systems exceptional project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
1. Project Planning and Management:
Develop detailed project plans outlining scope goals deliverables required resources and timing.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle including initiation planning execution monitoring control and closure.
2. Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders ensuring clear and consistent communication.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
3. Resource Allocation:
Coordinate with IT teams to secure necessary resources.
4. Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project deliverables.
Monitor and report on project risks and issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
5. Technical Expertise:
Provide technical leadership and support for Wintel systems including Windows Active Directory and Intel-based hardware.
Ensure project solutions adhere to industry best practices and organizational standards.
6. Quality Assurance:
Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management with at least 2 years managing Wintel-based projects.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory VMware and Intel-based hardware.
Familiarity with network infrastructure security protocols and enterprise IT environments.
Project Management Skills:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. MS Project JIRA).
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
