DescriptionJob Summary
The Personal Assistant (PA) to GM plays a critical role in supporting GM in daily operations strategic planning and administrative tasks while also facilitating clear communication through translation and interpretation. This position requires exceptional organizational skills discretion and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to GM including managing schedules meetings and correspondence
- Act as a liaison between the GM and hotel departments to ensure smooth communication
- Prepare and translate reports presentations and documents for internal and external use (English - Japanese)
- Attend meetings and provide consecutive interpretation as needed
- Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Assist in planning and executing hotel events meetings and guest relations activities
- Monitor and follow up on action items from meetings and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for the GM and VIP guests
- Support the GM in project management and operational oversight
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or personal assistant preferably in the hospitality industry (not compulsory).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g. MS Office).
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure with professionalism.
