Description
JOBSUMMARY:
Inspect and ensure cleanliness of assigned public space casino grounds and employee for daily checklist project list written inspections and other administrative -to-dayactivitiesoftheHousekeepersandWindows&Groundsemployees.
KEYJOBFUNCTIONS:
- Report to work fit and ready to work on time daily as schedule daily to learnofanychanges necessarytoaccommodateunplannedbusiness conditions.
- Communicates with Department Head regarding any and all needs affecting work performancecompletionof dutiesattendanceandguestservice.
- Read understand and practice all policies and procedures as outlined in the Team MemberHandbook.
- Make suggestions to appropriate manager regarding any suggestions for improving guest service departmentor jobefficiency.
- Reports to Manager any items requiring maintenance or particular attention tosafety related matters and reports such items dangerous take precautions toprevent injury until help arrives to respond to the situation.(Example: An open raised carpetseamin abusywalkway inwhichsomeone mightcatchhis/her foot andfall).
- Reports to manager and Security Officer any incidents involving illness or injury to self or others and any accidents or onset of illness incidents witnessed involving guests or other teammembers.
- Responsibletomaintain confidentialityofallmatterregardingguestteammembers andthebusiness operations.
- Requiredto cooperate withCompanyofficialsduringaninvestigation.
- Follows proper procedures for lost and found of personal items found money or gaming tokens.(ContactSecurityOfficer).
- Assistsinachievingthehighestpossible cleaningstandardsforthefacility.
- Interview and make hiring recommendations trains evaluates and disciplines team membersaccordingtopresetstandards.
- Inspectallareasofthe resortfor cleanlinessandmaintenance.
- Plans directs assigns and supervises cleaning projects in all public and back of house spacesandgrounds.
- Reviewsandupdates allworkstationsandjobprocedures.
- Responsibleforall controlproceduressuchaskeyschemicalsloggingofphonecalls.
- Followsandenforces establishedkeyandchemical procedures. Follows and enforces safety and lost and found procedures and guidelines for energyconservation.
- Follows departmentalpoliciesandproceduresas assignedbyManager.
- Must be able to use vacuums shampoo machines pile brush computer and printer andescalator cleaners.
- Otherdutiesasassigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma GED or comparable experience preferred.
- 5 years of general maintenance experience is required.
- Proven problem-solving skills are required as demonstrated by the ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.
- General knowledge of chemicals cleaners strippers and waxes preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as hand and power tools emergency equipment cleaning equipment.
- Good oral and written communication skills must be fluent and literate in English and have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively over handheld radios.
- Able to stand sit walk or lay for prolonged periods of time.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push pull lift up to 75 lbs. and the ability to push pull reach bend twist stoop stack crouch kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- Ability to work at heights of 60 feet.
- Ability to use a personal computer and appropriate software (Excel Word PowerPoint Access and Microsoft Outlook).
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to work in areas containing dust secondhand smoke varying noise and temperature levels lighting vibration crowds and air quality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible with schedule including nights weekends and holidays as required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $40000 - $45000
