TITLE:Student Specific ParaprofessionalQUALIFICATIONS:An associates degree two years of college or passing a state assessment is required to demonstrate the ability to assist in the instruction of math reading and writing preferred. Special education and ABA experience are strongly preferred. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The Student Specific Paraprofessional is expected to support students academic carrying out these responsibilities the student-specific paraprofessional shall:Instruct student(s) as assignedFollow student-specific programmingCollect and graph data if necessaryProvide reinforcement strategiesUse appropriate prompting proceduresAssist with Activities of Daily LivingExperience with behavior de-escalation strategies preferred* Any such other related duties as may be assigned by the building principal or paraprofessional must also be able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
