The Client Segments Strategy and Execution team serves as the strategy team for the Head of Wealth Management Client Segments. The team is responsible for helping the broader WMCS Organization in: (1) serving clients across our Advisor Workplace and Direct channels;
(2) ensuring we are meeting clients wherever they are on their financial journey supporting their growth and deepening relationships over time; (3) promoting integration and innovation across WMCSs various client-facing channels.
The teams responsibilities are categorized across four verticals: Strategic Planning & Corporate Development Business Management Chief of Staff function and Special Projects. The teams portfolio is ever-changing: in the past projects included driving inorganic growth initiatives assisting in the E*Trade integration managing the annual budget process and managing all internal/external speaking engagements for the Head of Wealth Management Client Segments.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will provide strategy/analytics support to Client Segments COO team as well as to senior/experienced members of WMCS StratEx team across all four verticals of projects with responsibility for (but not limited to) the following:
Proposing & evaluating proposals to drive organic and inorganic growth.
Building internal and external presentations for Head of WMCS across a range of topics and strategic initiative updates
Conducting quantitative analyses and assessing the economic impact of any strategic recommendations to drive change.
Contributing to broader business management needs such as: 1) coordinating annual budgeting across the organization 2) managing an inventory of strategic initiatives and obtaining regular updates from the rest of the leadership team and 3) running monthly management reporting in collaboration with partners from finance HR marketing risk compliance etc.
Proactively recommending ideas to improve organizational efficiencies and effectiveness.
Owning and driving major projects as they come online.
Provide support to the India offshore management team as needed.
Experience:
Bachelors degree with 4-6 years of experience
Former management consultant investment banking or corporate strategy experience preferred.
Required Skills:
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to learn new technology and systems.
Understanding of the Wealth Management business and products
Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships at all levels.
Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to function in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills
