Job Description
Do you want to join a growing team in a high-performance culture that provides leadership and technical development opportunities We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our Global Reinsurance team within our MBPS Actuarial Function. The role is accountable for handling policy maintenance and requests for death claim reimbursement of reinsured policies. Global Reinsurance supports Asia Canada and the U.S. from mail indexing to disbursements back-office transactions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support for business projects working independently on small projects and supporting larger projects meeting time and quality targets.
- Support workflow analysis define user requirements
- Prepare maintain and update procedures and comprehensive documentation for the administrative processes developed/implemented
- Prepare training materials and provide training on a one-on-one basis.
- Identify and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Understand all aspects of supporting development projects
- Estimate time to complete tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Balance operational and project assignments.
- Keep abreast of changing business needs.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
- Knowledge and understanding of project management methodology and workflow design
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively through both verbal and written communication.
- Good organization problem-solving skills and analytical ability
- Work well in independent or team basis as situation dictates.
We are looking for someone with:
- 1 to 2 years of demonstrated experience in developing business requirements. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior Business Analyst role.
- Ability to conduct interviews to determine business needs and specifications.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills to win support for new initiatives while building on relationships with the business units.
- Good knowledge and prior experience on user acceptance testing of small projects.
- Amenable to work UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)
- Amenable to work in any shift schedule (flexible depending on business need)
