West Monroe is seeking aSenior Consultantwith expertise inData Governance and Strategyto join our growingData & Analytics practice. This role will focus on helping clients design and implement data governance frameworks policies and strategies that enable them to unlock the full value of their data assets. As a Senior Consultant you will work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to assess their current data governance maturity and identify gaps.
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks policies and processes tailored to client needs.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to define data ownership stewardship and accountability models.
- Design strategies for data quality management metadata management and master data management.
- Provide actionable recommendations for improving data accessibility security and compliance.
- Support clients in aligning data governance initiatives with broader business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate progress risks and findings to clients and internal leadership.
- Mentor junior team members and foster their growth in data governance and analytics expertise.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for additional client engagements.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experiencein data governance data strategy or related fields.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing data governance frameworks in diverse industries.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts including data quality metadata and master data management.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA) and compliance standards.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g. Collibra Informatica Alation etc.) is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering client value.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in data governance data management or analytics are highly preferred.
- Hybrid role: 2x per week in office
- Ability to travel to client sites 30 to 50%
Based on pay transparency guidelines the salaryrange for this role canvary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (seetable below). Information on our competitive total rewards packageincluding our bonus structure and benefits ishere. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geographyexperience skills education and internal equity.
