What youll be doing:

  • Assisting team members with receiving and sorting donations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times in a variety of situations to enhance the donor experience.
  • Educating customers and donors about Goodwills mission.
  • Unpacking totes for team members and to support the pricing process.
  • Preparing racks for merchandising on the retail floor.
  • Transporting items to and from the sales floor and place on shelves bins and racks.
  • Ensuring floors are free of stock and that all rack and shelves are neat.
  • Ensuring a clean organized and safe work environment at all times as per site image standards outlined.

What you bring to the table:

  • Must be 15 years of age or older.
  • Must pass a criminal record check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to interact with donors and members of the public.
  • Must have conversational English skills.
  • Dependability and reliability is required.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Patient and able to work with volunteers and team members with a wide range of skills and abilities.
  • Ability to use material moving equipment such as dollies rolling carts and pallet jacks.
  • As this position requires lifting sorting and moving donations candidates must be able to regularly lift in excess of 22 kilograms (50 pounds).
