What youll be doing:
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times in a variety of situations to enhance the customer experience.
- Greeting members of the public throughout the store and providing information on the store.
- Educating customers about Goodwills mission.
- Providing access to locked dressing rooms and monitoring the number of items taken in the rooms.
- Rehanging miscategorized items on the retail floor.
- Ensuring floors are free of stock and that all rack and shelves are neat.
- Removing all stock tagged with the weekly pull colour and tracks pulls.
- Assisting cashiers with bagging and carry-outs for customers.
- Ensuring a clean organized and safe work environment at all times as per site image standards outlined.
What you bring to the table:
- Must be 15 years of age or older.
- Must pass a criminal record check.
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact with donors and members of the public.
- Must have conversational English skills.
- Dependability and reliability is required.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Ability to work with volunteers and team members with a wide range of skills and abilities.
- As this position requires lifting sorting and moving donations candidates must be able to regularly lift in excess of 10 kilograms (22 pounds).
