What youll be doing:

  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times in a variety of situations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Greeting members of the public throughout the store and providing information on the store.
  • Educating customers about Goodwills mission.
  • Providing access to locked dressing rooms and monitoring the number of items taken in the rooms.
  • Rehanging miscategorized items on the retail floor.
  • Ensuring floors are free of stock and that all rack and shelves are neat.
  • Removing all stock tagged with the weekly pull colour and tracks pulls.
  • Assisting cashiers with bagging and carry-outs for customers.
  • Ensuring a clean organized and safe work environment at all times as per site image standards outlined.

What you bring to the table:

  • Must be 15 years of age or older.
  • Must pass a criminal record check.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to interact with donors and members of the public.
  • Must have conversational English skills.
  • Dependability and reliability is required.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Ability to work with volunteers and team members with a wide range of skills and abilities.
  • As this position requires lifting sorting and moving donations candidates must be able to regularly lift in excess of 10 kilograms (22 pounds).
