Job Summary
Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for producing quality output of requested print orders within established turnaround times. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing facility assembling products and ensuring production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role requires attention to detail adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work as part of a team to meet production goals.
Objectives
- Receive print job requests and complete daily fulfillment of orders.
- Quality check production runs.
- Cross-trained in bindery.
- Complete tasks within target due dates.
- Use programs in the Adobe Suite Microsoft Office Suite and various software on a daily basis for printing.
- Assist in training on Kodak NexPress.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
- Strong communication with Management Customer Service Team Design Team and the rest of the Production Team.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional print shop environment. It is fast paced and works closely with the team offsite production and the customer. This role uses computers high-end production equipment works in various software and assists with bindery and shipping when needed.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full time 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime when deemed necessary
Required Education and Experience
- High school education required
- Microsoft Suite
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1 plus years of related experience
- Print Production
