Description
As a Legal Administrative Assistant youll support taxpayers and internal operations at our Liberty office. This role involves assisting with phone and in-person inquiries managing payment agreements processing mail and supporting legal documentation. Youll also handle data entry maintain office supplies and contribute to special projects. Responsibilities:
Answer taxpayer phone calls and assist with property or legal notice inquiries
Schedule appointments monitor calendars and return after-hours messages
Assist walk-in taxpayers with payment agreements and payoff quotes
Draft and send payment agreements and default letters
Review scan and code received payment agreements
Process incoming mail and emails including payoff requests
Enter and code data in Oracle Litigation and Spindlemedia systems
Maintain and order office supplies
Upload signed agreements into digital files and apply hold codes
Prepare litigation documents (e.g. dismissals nonsuits partials cost letters)
Monitor monthly tax office payment agreement reports
Occasionally assist with client events or visit the tax office
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Strong grammar and writing skills
Excellent verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
Time management and multitasking abilities
Office supply management experience
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license and personal vehicle required
Proof of insurance and clean driving record (MVR check required)
Comfortable with occasional driving (approx. 10%)
