Job Summary
Respiratory Care Practitioner
Location: Various locations across NJ
Shift: 6:45 PM 7:00 AM 3 x 12 hr shifts/week
Duration: 13 Weeks (with strong potential for extension)
Job Summary:NavitasHealthcare LLCis seekingRRTfor an exciting Travel and/or Local job.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic respiratory care in accordance with physician directives to patients with compromised cardiopulmonary function.
Assist with endotracheal intubation procedures and ensure effective ventilator support and monitoring.
Collect and assess patient data to develop individualized respiratory treatment plans.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Educate patients and families on disease processes and the purpose of therapies.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of treatment sessions and outcomes.
Support hospital-wide initiatives and comply with organizational behavior standards.
Perform physical activities such as lifting pushing pulling and prolonged standing.
Required Skills:
Rapid adaptability in dynamic care settings accountability and collaborative spirit.
Strong commitment to quality care and patient-centered service.
Willingness to work across multiple hospital units including ICU and med-surg.
Certifications & Licenses:
BLS (AHA) certification.
Valid New Jersey license in Respiratory Care.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
