Job Description
Senior Automation Tester
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Tester to enhance our automated testing frameworks and execute comprehensive automated tests. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality releases through effective testing strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design develop and maintain automation tests using Cypress and API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured.
- Integrate automated testing suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate actively in Agile Testing Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Continuous Testing practices.
- Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and product owners using Jira for effective defect management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in Cypress for web application testing.
- Solid experience in API testing (Postman RestAssured).
- Experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile Testing BDD methodologies and continuous testing.
- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages particularly JavaScript/TypeScript (Java proficiency desirable).
- Experience in performance testing with tools like JMeter or Gatling.
- Proficiency in defect tracking and test management using Jira.
