Reporting to the Director the Program Coordinator is responsible for fostering community engagement through artmaking experiences for a diverse audience including students faculty and community members. This role supports the planning coordination and execution of studio programs workshops and special events while also ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. The Program Coordinator collaborates closely with staff instructors and campus partners to enhance the student experience manage day-to-day studio operations and help grow the visibility of Wheelhouse Studios as a creative hub on campus.

The starting salary for the position is $50000 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Academic Staff:
Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience facilitating art experiences in a community or educational setting At least 2 years of experience with event planning or program coordination Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep multiple projects running smoothly Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit Prior experience and/or genuine enthusiasm for working with college students in a creative environment Familiarity with studio management or arts administration Comfort working across a variety of art media Awareness of current trends in artmaking DIY and creative culture with the ability to design programs that feel fun relevant and engaging for todays students A degree in Art Art Education or a related field or equivalent experience that shows your creative expertise Click the Apply button to start the application process.
